Video: Kemetstry - No Respect No Manners

Veteran Huddersfield rapper Kemetstry brings that dark boom-bap heat in new video reintroducing his distinctive underground flavour to hip hop. Paying homage to that unmistakeable sound of the 1990s, the song exploits his distinctive accent and flow structure, with lines such as “I don't follow these mans on road / it's ya local council that own ya post code, so why would I rep' something that I don't own”.

Kemetstry is no stranger to having his fair share of success. Having starting his career in 2006 with Beat Butcha produced ‘Verbal Assassin’, he's continued on a path that has seen support from Radio 1Xtra, Kiss FM, Choice FM (now Capital Xtra) and more. The video for the track gained airtime on MTV Base ‘From the Endz’ and Channel U and even was placed in Shorty Blitz' top ten singles in Hip Hop Connection magazine. Since then, Kemetstry has embarked on nation wide tours, formed his own clothing line, and supported acts such as Akala, Pharaohe Monch, KRS One, Klashnekoff Killa Priest (Wu-Tang Clan), Rodney P & Skitz, Task Force, Fat Lip (The Pharcyde), Beatnutz, General Levy and more.
